Where we say a jurisdiction has no restriction, that usually means we could not find one, which is not the same as establishing that none exists.

Phased Implementation: River Forest is implementing regulations in phases over time.
Jurisdictions with gas equipment restrictions
Evanston
Gasoline- and propane-powered leaf blowers have been prohibited since April 1, 2023. Electric blowers may be used Monday–Friday 7 a.m.–9 p.m., Saturday 8 a.m.–5 p.m., and Sunday noon–4 p.m. A first violation brings a warning; subsequent fines range from $100 to $250.

Fuel-powered blowers may be used only in April, October and November, from 8 a.m.–7 p.m. Monday–Friday and 9 a.m.–6 p.m. on weekends and holidays. Golf course lawn upkeep is exempt; the seasonal restriction does not apply to corded or battery-powered blowers.
