Gas-powered handheld and backpack leaf blowers are prohibited January 1–September 30 in 2026 and 2027, and year-round beginning January 1, 2028. Exceptions may apply for extreme weather, and property owners who need electrical upgrades may request an extension. Walk-behind blowers are outside the rule.
