Gas-powered leaf blowers are being phased out. Restricted June to October 2026; January to April and June to October 2027; January to October 2028; year-round beginning January 2029. Exemptions include certain integrated wheeled leaf-removal equipment, snow removal, chemical sprayers and mounted or towed leaf vacuums; emergency suspensions may apply. Violations may result in warning, then $100, $250 and $600 for subsequent offenses under specified conditions.
